In addition to the great content and networking opportunities, industry conferences also present a lot of fun. You get the parties, you get the beer, you get the swag and you get a chance to win some cool prizes. Last year we managed to secure some great prizes – an XBOX 360 and a trip to Microsoft’s Research Labs.

Just as in software development, every iteration has to be better than the previous so we tried to apply the same approach to the prizes for DevReach 2007. Apart from offering more stuff, which means every DevReach 2007 attendee has a greater chance to win, we did get creative about the grand prize:) Here’s the breakdown:

Prize #1: Free pass to TechEd Developers in Barcelona Who can win it: everyone who makes an "Early Bird" registration is entered into a drawing for the pass. Thank you, Microsoft! It’s going to be a good chance for the winner of the pass to compare DevReach and TechEd and get an idea of where we, the organizers, want to take this event in the future.

Prize #2: 3 digital cameras (courtesy of Plesio)
Who can win: everyone who fills in the session feedback forms can win one of the three 7MP cameras and catch all the action of DevReach 2008 in pictures.

Prize #3: Microsoft Zune
Who can win: all DevReach 2007 attendees will have a chance to win the cool Microsoft gadget that hit the streets in 2007.

Prize #4: Here’s the big one - the grand prize is a scooter!
Who can win: all attendees with a VIP pass will have a chance to win a brand new scooter! The scooter is the perfect way to get to work, spend less time in traffic congestion and get home faster. Just to make things more visual, here’s a couple of pictures of the two-wheel beauty:
